Not necessarily – private transportation can be arranged for you, with pricing provided prior to booking. Many guests prefer this option for ease and convenience. For villa stays, transportation is arranged upon request and billed accordingly. For select retreat experiences, transportation may be included as part of the overall offering.

Whether you choose to rent a car often depends on how far you plan to explore. Golf carts are available and are a fun way to get around the Mar Vista community and nearby beaches. For longer outings or when navigating the area’s hills, an SUV or vehicle with higher clearance is generally the more comfortable and practical choice.

If you prefer to rent a car, we recommend arranging it to be delivered directly to the villa. Complimentary on-site parking is available, with space for up to eight vehicles.
